Growth and Accomplishments
As parents we are continually amazed at what our children accomplish as they grow. Before we know it, infants who depended solely on us are walking, then running, then leaving for school. Their accomplishments don’t stop there, as CISPA saw first hand this week.
Grade 6 students have put their concern for the environment into action, developing an Anti Idling campaign they are hoping to put in place at school. Grade 11 students are planning ahead and raising funds in order to increase the impact they can have during their Experience Week service trips come November.
CISPA is growing and developing too, as you will learn from letters going out this week. The Executive Committee has put considerable time and effort into organizational planning and development this year, complementing the many hours our parent volunteers have contributed to creating a full slate of activities and events for CDNIS parents, students and staff.
Our Annual General Meeting is coming up on 8 June. The primary order of business is electing the parent leaders who will guide CISPA next year. Read our guide to elections here. Please note that nominations close on 25 May.
