INTRODUCTION
The Canadian International School Parents’ Association (CISPA) is a vital and energetic organization. All parents of a CDNIS student are automatically members of the association. Your volunteering will enable the CISPA interest groups that have strengthened our community since 1991 to continue to flourish.
Every year, up to 15 volunteering parents are elected to serve as CISPA's Board of Directors. These members take the responsibility of the association's budget, the successful organization of events and the maintenance of the bylaws. A great many other volunteering parents are devoted to actively initiating and supporting activities for the families of CDNIS students. Events such as the Family Fun Fair, the Flower Fair, and committees such as the World of Words Literacy Committee and the Welcome Committee, enrich our community and create strong bonds amongst parents, students and CDNIS staff.
CISPA volunteers are also busy keeping all parents informed of the many aspects of the school. Having such a structure as CISPA, CDNIS has a powerful and easy means of hearing parents’ opinions on many important issues.
